Description: The Hawaiian Hawk measures 16-18 inches in length, with slightly larger females. Two color phase: Dark color phase (dark brown head, breast, underwings), and light color phase (dark head, light breast and underwings. Habitats: Exotic forest, lowlands, and high elevations in Hawaiian islands Diet: The Hawaiian Hawks eats insects, non native mammals, and native and non-native birds.

Zoology Features: The Hawaiian Hawk is a triploblastic organization and a deuterstome.It has a bilateral body symmetry. Basic Growth and Developmental Cycles: The Hawaiian Hawk nests from March to September, and lay up to three eggs in one clutch. The mother incubates the egg for 38 days until it hatches. The baby then stays in its birth area for 6-7 months.
