Detailed Description: This creature is about 35.6 cm in length.

Habitat: This creature is found in the reef, under the rocky stones or in seagrass areas, and muddy areas. It can be found in the tropical western Atlantic.

Organism’s diet: The bearded fireworm eats coral, anemone, and crustaceans. 

Zoology Features: This worm has white bristles along the side of its body. It is hollow, fragile, and is a venom-filled satae, and can penetrate the flesh and break off when being handled. When disturbed, it uses the bristles to flare out. It has beautiful colors, and shows enormous variations of lifestyles and forms.It is a dueterostome with a radial body symmetry. It is a diploblastic organization.

Basic Growth and Development Cycles: The female bearded fireworm emits a greenish phosphorescent glow, which attracts the male bearded fireworm. As the opposite sexes approach each other, the sex cells are shed.
